Burnham advises The Wheeler Group in its sale to Oldcastle Materials, Inc., a subsidiary of CRH plc (NYSE:CRH)
On December 11, 2009, Oldcastle Materials, Inc., a subsidiary of CRH plc (NYSE:CRH), acquired the assets of The Wheeler Group.
 
Burnham acted as exclusive financial advisor to Wheeler in this transaction. The Wheeler Group is a market-leading Central Texas provider of asphalt paving services, hotmix asphalt and ready-mix concrete.
 
Jack Wheeler, who founded The Wheeler Group in Austin in 1982, joins Oldcastle as president of The Wheeler Group within Oldcastle.
 
Oldcastle, based in Atlanta, is the leading vertically integrated supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete and paving services in the United States. The company has operations at 1,400 locations nationwide and is a subsidiary of CRH. CRH is one of the three largest building materials companies worldwide with 2008 revenue of $29.7 billion and operations in 35 countries.
